Alco automobiles were built to a very high standard by the famous steam locomotive company. The very high $6,000 price tag eliminated most American buyers. Only two or three Alco cars are known to be in existend today.
The 1912 model was powered by a 6-cylinder, 579.5 cid, 70-horsepower engine.
