Newer wheels and some restoration to paint. One-of-a-kind. I bought this truck from a local armored car service since the business had just been sold. The truck has the same color and graphics as the ones in service. Since it was all stock, I put in new belts hoses, exhaust system, wire harness and carburetor kit. THANKS TO A LOOP HOLE IN THE SYSTEM WE WERE ABLE TO ACQUIRE A COUPLE OF THE SURVIVING CARS THAT WERE NOT DESTROYED. I CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH THE RARE OPPORTUNITY THIS IS TO OWN A PIECE OF SPIELBERG AND INDIANA JONES HISTORY! THIS DODGE M-37 PLAYED A MAJOR ROLE IN THE MOVIE AND CAN BE RECOGNIZED THROUGHOUT. BECAUSE MANY OF THE SCENES WERE FILMED INDOORS THE TRUCK WAS CONVERTED TO RUN ON PROPANE TO REDUCE FUMES. FOR THE ROLE, HOLLYWOOD MAKE-UP WAS APPLIED TO GIVE THE TRUCK A DIRTY, USED LOOK. RUST AND DIRT WERE ACTUALLY PAINTED ONTO THE TRUCK TO WEATHER IT. IT RUNS AND DRIVES FANTASTIC! DOCUMENTED WITH A RENTAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE PROVIDER AND THE MOVIE COMPANY.
