This car is a very rare BN7, two seat, model. Only 2,825 BN7s were built over the three-year, 1959-'61 run for the MkI. The 3000 series received an upgraded 2912cc version of the 100-6's straight-6 powerplant, 4 speed transmission with electric overdrive, along with front disc brakes in place of the previous version's drum set-up. The look remained indistinguishable and, therefore, these are seen by many as the cream of the Healey crop. It is also the heyday for racing as Healeys took numerous class wins in rally racing around Europe and were campaigned extensively by privateers on circuits here and abroad. This BN7 has been nicely restored and is very correct throughout. It comes with an extensive file of receipts, photos, and information. This is a great driving Healey that, coupled with a stunning look, makes it easy to see why these iconic cars are so hotly in desired in the collector marketplace. Only 30,531 original miles. Frame-up restoration with new bumpers, grille, wheels and tires. It has been in dry storage since the mid 1960's. The bumpers and grille are new. This Morgan has recently been painted red. New welting between body and fenders highlight the perfect new paint job. This is a rare 4 seater. The upholstery and interior is all new leather with red piping. The convertible top is new and has a Union Jack Flag on it. The instrument dash is the original made of walnut with a satin finish. What more could anyone ask for? How about an improved transmission as seen with the new Turbine-drive that was the next generation of the Dynaflow, one of several options on this Le Sabre. With a base price of $3,145, a total of 13,588 were produced, about a 30% increase over 1959's total. Finished in Cordovan Burgundy metallic with interior done in colorful red and white vinyl, it is equipped with Sonomatic AM radio, heater-defroster, and power steering and brakes. Showing just over 65,200 miles, it appears to have had at least one repaint and there are minimal signs or wear on interior items. During our inspection, we did not spot any signs of rust-out and all body panels seemed to line-up well.
