Even more rare is the truck's original red color. The truck has an exceptional restoration with mild customization. The brilliant red paint is highlighted by a custom grille with billet insert, custom front bumper and front and rear roll pans. The tailgate handle was moved, door handles were painted body color, smooth mirrors were added and all factory moldings were removed to achieve the sleek styling. The original 454 and 700 R4 overdrive transmission were retained. A custom exhaust was added for performance and a Hot Rod sound. The suspension was rebuilt adding dropped spindles and also lowering the rear. Sway bars were added to both the front and on the rear. American Salt Flat wheels wrapped in Goodyear rubber help the truck perform and ride as great as it looks. The interior has a custom covered seat and door panels, new carpet and new trim. Power windows, tilt, cruise, upgraded factory radio and air conditioning are some of the original equipment features that give this truck many modern conveniences not associated with Hot Rods.
