1954 Pontiac Starchief Catalina Custom Coupe completely original unrestored. Offers encouraged. The interior in this Pontiac is worn, but original, yellow and white leather. Back window shelf liner is gone. Courtesy lights in back celluloid broken. Headliner fine (has chrome bars across to look like a convertible). Dash, steering wheel, and radio are all fine. Has the original underbody rust preventative coating. Exterior all lenses present. Right parking light lens repaired (glass) there is a small crack in the left drivers side of the windshield (it always passed inspection) there is a dent in the driver side hood near the windshield where a mechanic lifted the hood too far and the spring let go (and cracked the windshield) The hood has been reset and re-sprung. There is a new gas tank. There are a few exterior scratches (small to the primer) that I got at car shows where people got too close with belt buckles etc. The mileage on the Pontiac is 58,000, and it’s almost correct. The connection from the speedometer to the hub has broken about a year ago, but the car has been driven only about 20 miles since that The body was repainted correctly according to the cars specs about 5 years ago with proper paint type and color. All chrome and stainless pieces are present. Bumper has a little rust. Tires are good, replaced, not wide whites. Hubcaps all there with spare with hubcap also. Still original 6 V electrical system Have EXTRA FUEL PUMP, and extra electric fuel pump. Have extra carburetor. Engine had ring job about 5 years ago. Paint wearing off engine block. Oil air filter present and excellent. Car has always run very well and quietly, though now dies need a starter. The old starter is still in the car, though car does start and run. Available are pictures of the car when purchased in pieces. I would have to scan those if you are interested. Lit HOOD ORNAMENT IS VERY NICE, and there are extra doodles on the hood ornament, side windows and antenna (from the 50's). Selling for a client. Located in South Carolina.
