This 1969 Chevelle Yenko re-creation is one of the most striking muscle cars around. It started as a well optioned SS 396 4-speed Chevelle. The fact that it was pampered is evident by the unusually nice original chrome and trim, super straight original sheet metal, beautiful original vinyl top and well preserved original interior. In 2007, the previous owner striped to bare metal and refinished the car with high quality base coat/clear coat LeMans Blue which is the original color, polished to a mirror-like finish. The underbody was cleaned and refinished in semi-gloss black. Being an original big block 4-speed Chevelle, it was an easy swap to a 454 big block with aluminum open chamber heads, race cam and solid lifters. In particular the Lemans Blue and white top and Yenko graphics gets many admiring looks. The car has the following desirable options: Factory air conditioning that blows cold, M21 4-speed transmission, power disc brakes, 12-bolt posi-traction rear, power steering, bucket seats, floor console, LeMans Blue paint, white vinyl top, Delco AM radio, dual exhaust and Goodyear Polyglass Tires. Truly a rare beauty to behold and a blast to drive.
