Austin-Healy started production of sports cars in 1953 with the introduction of the successful 100-4 model. In 1956, the 6-cylinder 100-6 model was produced, which was developed into the vastly improved and famous 3000. This model featured front disc brakes, greater torque and horsepower to 124, and was offered in 2 and 4 seat roadster body styles. Purchased last year as an excellent, straight, solid California car, this exceptional Big Healey 2 2 roadster has just completed an extensive and thorough restoration by premier marque specialists, Kurt Tanner Restorations. Finished in the beautiful and traditional original color scheme of Olde English White with red leather trim, this lovely Healey features a 4-speed overdrive gearbox, stainless wire wheels, adjustable steering wheel and heater.
