1965 Jaguar Series 1 E-Type convertible. 4.2 Liter 6-cylinder engine with a 4-speed in cream with camel top and camel interior. This vehicle had a total ground-up restoration completed in 2000. All body panels and systems were replaced or repaired to bring the vehicle to new condition. The upholstery was refitted with new leather, vinyl and new carpeting was installed. It has a new Stay Fast cloth top. The engine was replaced and all new parts were installed including new cylinder heads, new valves, guides, tensioners and springs. Other new parts include a new water pump, new clutch system, shift bushings, a new first gear synchro, new radiator with auxiliary fan, new heater tank, new battery, exhaust system, etc. A rare factory air conditioning system was also installed. Extreme attention to detail including a complete factory original tool kit, hub removing tool and original copper hammer is included. All new parts and a perfectly restored and running engine. 4,000 miles on the rebuild.
