1928 STUDEBAKER ERSKINE
This Erskine was shown at the Ford Towe Museum in Sacramento in July 1992 at the Car Club Cavalcade. It is a 2-Door sedan, front seats fold forward for access to back seat where there is a bench seat. This is a very unique car. As was mentioned earlier, it is a right hand-drive car, built for export to australia. The turn indicators are present and functioning. The have 12 spokeswooden and are painted burgundy. The spare tire comes with it and hangs on the rear. Vintage "19 CALIFORNIA 28" license plate. There is hole for the crank, but this engine does not start with a crank. Courtesy lights, head lights, tails light and chrome bumbers are all there and in good condition. The bar across the front between the headlights bears the Erskine/Studebaker STAR insignia.
