1938 OLDSMOBILE F-38 GRAND TOURING SEDAN
Heres your opportunity to purchase a stunning and rare (only 3,975 produced) 1938 F-38 Oldsmobile gentlemans Grand Touring sedan. This very strong #2 condition Olds F-38 has had a fully documented 50k concourse restoration completed 10 years ago and has seen some limited fair weather touring usage/classic vintage car shows since its completion and still is in excellent #2 condition. It would need minimal detailing to bring it up to #1 condition. To see the coachwork on this fine 30s automobile is just simply amazing and no words or pictures can describe or do justice to the workmanship that has gone into this museum quality automobile. It is an artistic well thought out brilliant/timeless design from an era of automobiles that were designed and built to last forever. This Olds will impress even the fussiest collectors of fine 30s vintage classic automobiles and deserves to be in a well sorted collection or museum. Details: This Olds F-38s restoration was completely to the highest level of quality workmanship and standards. Its body and paint are almost flawless(show quality)and there are no apparent blemishes, scratches or noticeable imperfections. The color is a correct Starlight Blue and is just a very lush/rich looking show finish 1930s color. Body fit is superb and all panels appear to be original sheet metal. Chrome looks excellent with a high level of replating to show standards. There are a few new original pieces that come with the car (2 rear trunk lid hinges to replace the pitted ones) after that the exterior is done. Interior is beige wool done to perfection and looks superb throughout. Under carriage is clean, solid as day 1 and very nice overall condition. Options include: Wide whitewall tires Radio Clock Heater Driving lamps Turn Signals Front & Rear Bumper guards.
