1954 GAZ 12
GAZ 12 "ZIM". All original parts, documents, car is in Latvia. Many Americans may be unfamiliar with this automobile. GAZ produced many Soviet army vehicles including four wheel drive armored trucks, ambulances ammunitions trucks, etc. Some were made with tracks (like tanks). This is a rare post-war car in good condition. All parts are original. 99.90% of Russian people could never afford such an automobile. These cars were driven by dignitaries. This car was on exhibit in Riga Motormuseum founded in 1989 that features more than 100 automobiles, motorcycles and bicycles, most soviet origin and includes cars such as Brezhnev's Rolls Royce Silver Shadow, Molotov's Rolls Royce Wraith, Stalin's armour limousine ZIS 115S, a BMW 328, Recordauto Pioneer 2M, ARVW - an object for aerodynamic research, E.Erman's self constructed record breaking motorcycle EKE 1, etc. The museum features fascinating Latvian antique automobiles, has a Berlin Traffic and Technique Museum, Audi and Volkswagen museum and a private collectors' section.
