1988 BENTLEY EIGHT
English quality, class and power are all here in this 1988 Bentley Eight sedan. Bentley isn't just another pretty face - though there is that - but with a 6.8L 429 PFI engine, you get power and fine mechanical craftsmanship built into the style of the all leather and walnut interior. Highly reliable: After 90,000 miles, the only repair needed was a new water pump. It has been carefully and regularly maintained. Rare options include a sterling silver comb and brush set and Staffordshire cut crystal decanters and glasses in the rear seat bar. Magnificent hydraulic suspension adjusts your ride and control on curves. This '88 Bentley sports the distinctive wire mesh grille, adapted from the Bentley racers of the 20's. Also Quite Rare - only 1736 Bentley Eights were produced in their 8 year production run. This Bentley has new 15" radial tires and has just been repainted with the official original color from Crewe. The surface was taken to bare metal, primed and repainted to Bentley standards. The interior is very clean, carpet is excellent and has original Bentley floor mats. Everything still works well including the recently serviced A/C. This beautiful 19 year old Bentley does show some normal wear, though I'm sure a pesonal or third party inspection will still reveal the class act that it is.
