1966 Buick Wildcat Gran Sport Convertible

In 1966 Buick decided to add the Gran Sport performance option to its full size line up. It consisted of a 425-ci 340-HP engine, quick ration steering box, dual exhaust, and Posi-Traction rear end. It was available in the coupe and convertible models this was only done for one year. Their were 1244 Wildcat GS’s built, 242 were convertibles, less than 50 cars are known to exist and this car is considered tot be the best known example in existence. This particular vehicle has undergone an extensive complete ground up two-year restoration of a rust free Arizona car. Factory options include: GS performance option, air conditioning, custom interior, power (drivers only) bucket seats, full floor console with floor shifter, console mounted tachometer, tilt steering wheel, wood grain steering wheel, power windows (including vent windows), vacuum truck release, cornering lights, road wheels, AM/FM stereo (first year), power antenna, speed minder, 845x15” White Wall tires.
