This 1952 MG was purchased in November 1999 from an elderly woman in Hollywood. She was the second owner, she purchased the car in 1954 from a member of the MG Club that she and her husband belonged to. He had a new MG which they enjoyed so much that she wanted her own. She drove the car in rallies and on trips until she parked the car in 1972. It sat in her garage until puchased in 1999. We brought it to Arizona and dismantled the car. Surprisingly there was no rust and only a small dent in the right fender. The car was stripped, the dent repaired and painted "British Racing Green". The engine was completely rebuilt with the addition of a new rack and pinion gear which allows the car to cruise at 55 MPH, without redlining the tach. The motor now uses unleaded gas. The interior was redone in tan leather with a new top and side curtains also in tan. The car has been completely redone with skill and pride.
