This classic Jaguar has remained in the possession of the same family since it was delivered new in the Seattle area. It has never been restored, only repainted the original color sometime in the 80's. It retains its original owner's handbook, warranty booklet, 3.4 litre maintenance chart, and its nearly-complete tool set. The low miles indicated on the odometer are original and have been verified by the original owner's son, who is the most recent caretaker of this car. Part of the reason for the low mileage is that this car was in dry storage for the better part of the past decade. It has been freshly re-commissioned mechanically by a vintage Jaguar expert. Well in excess of $10,000 was spent getting this car ready for road use again including, among other things, new exhaust, a complete brake system replacement, valve job, carburetor servicing, 4 new white wall tires, and a tune up. This Mark II is an excellent choice for any collector who wants a fun, usable English classic with a great pedigree.
