Description:

Rare '01 Qvale (Kah-vah-lee) Mangusta Convertible, One of only 200 built, Designed by Marcello Gandini known for his work on the Lamborghini Coutach and Diablo, A front-engined, rear-wheel-drive hand built Italian GT sports car built in Modena Italy, A concept fostered by Qvale & de Tomaso (of 70's Pantera fame). There are three options of body styles in one car courtesy of Rototop. With Rototop fully erected, the Mangusta is a perfect weatherproof coupe. Remove the light center section (it stores in the trunk) and the car becomes a breezy targa. Lower the rear section by pressing a switch and you have the full-blown cabrio effect. Other cars require you to make this choice in the showroom. With the Mangusta, you can decide as you drive. This beautiful example has only 3772 miles and is finished in Santorini Blue over Tobacco Brown Leather Interior, Powered by a 4.6L Ford Cobra engine with American reliability & serviceability in any Ford dealership, Putting out 320 bhp @ 6000 rpm / 314 lb-ft torque @ 4800 rpm, 0-60 mph in 5.3 seconds and a top speed of 160mph. So if you want to own an Italian Supercar more rare than a Ferrari for a fraction of its price, this Qvale Mangusta is the way to go.
