The Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II marked the debut of the new Rolls Royce V8 engine displacing 380cid and making an estimated 185hp. Each engine passed a 7-hour full throttle, full power dynamometer test before it was installed in a Silver Cloud II. This 1960 left-hand drive Cloud II was the pride and joy of a Texas lady owner who had it equipped with automatic transmission, factory air conditioning, fog lights, power windows and a cassette stereo. It shows the effects of careful, caring ownership and still has its original jack, tools, spare tire and even the flashlight which came with every Cloud II in the trunk. The rear compartment is outfitted with picnic tables. The interior wood has been redone while the exterior has been repainted in silver over black. The interior is upholstered in its original grey leather now in sound and gently-aged condition. Only 2,716 Silver Clouds in all body styles were built during the model's production from 1959-1962. Few of them have been as well looked after as this one. Complete with extensive documentation from Rolls Royce.
