You are looking at one of the fastest muscle cars to ever hit the American road. According to the Ford News Release, this Mach 1 is 1 of 3 built for the SCCA National Divisional Road Rally events. This Mach 1 is 1 of 2 for the SCCA Ford Rally Team equipped with Ford's 428. This makes it an extremely rare car to become available to the public in today's car market. The car came well equipped with a 428 with a C6 automatic transmission,1 of 1,130 built with air conditioning, intermittent wipers, and 1 of 759 built with tachometer and trip odometer. Power steering, power front disc brakes as well as other factory options. I have the original Window Sticker, Marti Auto Works Deluxe Report, original sight draft for $2,700 from Edgar M. Crockett/ Ford Rally Team to team member Nathan H. Jones dated August 12, 1970, for the purchase of the car. Copy of Ford's News Release announcing Ford's Rally Assistance Program. Copy of the agreement between Ford Rally Headquarters and Nathan H. Jones/Russell K. Brown signed August 12, 1969. Copy of an article from "Sports Car" written by Jim Abbott featuring millionaire Nathan "Available" Jones and Russ "Alligator" Brown and original 1970 Mustang owners manual. Serial number shows R code motor, which is a 428c.i.d. As you will notice pictures show the car equipped with Ford's factory hood scoop.
