In the interest of beating Chevrolet's famed V6, Ford introduced the V8 in their 1933 production model. Since this event was going to be special, the body received a more elegant shape with rounded edges and intergraded windshield. Of the thousands of cars produced, only 8,000 or so Cabriolets were made in 1933 and are among the most sought after bodies in the world of collectors and hot rodders alike!

Featured here is an all-steel 1933 Ford Cabriolet with rumble seat and roll-up windows. All components are steel including fenders and running boards. Finished in Khaki Tan with black fenders, the car has a very unique appeal. The drive train was professionally built by Heinzman Street Rods located in Phillips, NE. This includes 350ci small block V8 with Edelbrock 4-bbl carburetor and intake, exhaust headers, TH350 3-speed automatic transmission with Lokar shifter, and Ford 8" rear end. The frame consists of Mustang II front end with power disc brakes, sway bar, and tubular a-arms, parallel leaf spring rear suspension also with a sway bar, and reproduction, custom stainless steel gas tank. The inside is finished in easy to maintain Buckskin vinyl upholstery, retro gauges, Ididit tilt steering column, Air-tique heat/air conditioning system, hidden CD player in the glove box with power antenna, Lecarra leather wrapped steering wheel, seat belts, and billet dash components. Outside, its highlighted with Coker wide white wall tires accenting the polished baby moon hubcaps, Hudson rear taillights, front cowl lights, 1934 grill and steel hood assembly, locking doors, and steel rear panel with recessed license plate holder. Included is a Lebaron Bonney black soft top with boot cover, build documentation, and before and after photos. This car remains beautifully kept with a nicely detailed undercarriage. Driving this car is a true pleasure, even on those hot summer cruise nights! It is ready to be enjoyed and will remain an outstanding classic car investment! Please call with any questions.
