1 of 54 factory built W30s in 1966. This car is #29 of 54. It is 1 of 8 W30 F-85 Deluxe Holiday coupes built. This car was manufactured the second week in June of 1966 as evidenced by the trim tag code of "06B". It has its original matching numbers engine and drivetrain as authenticated by Curt Anderson. For 1966, the W30 package consisted of a balanced and blueprinted 400cid/360hp V8 with three 2-barrel carburetors, M21 close-ratio fast shift transmission, 4.33 anti-spin rear axle with special high strength axles, "R" Code wheels, V01 heavy duty radiator, forced air induction, battery relocated to the trunk, a heavy duty spring for the oil pump and a performance camshaft and valve train. #29 is optioned with 442 performance package, L69 tri-carbs, W30 forced air induction, M21 close-ration transmission, 4.33 heavy duty ratio, anti-spin rear axle, heavy duty radiator, deluxe seat belts, radio delete, red line tires and factory tachometer. Information and documentation going with #29 is a letter of authenticity by Senior Oldsmobile Club of America Judge and former owner, a complete evaluation by noted Oldsmobile authority Curt Anderson, a list of former owners, previous copies of titles, photos documenting #29 as part of the Jim Stohlman collection, list of known ownership of the remaining 1966 W30's, list of production numbers and miscellaneous correspondence between Oldsmobile and The National Hot Rod Association regarding the acceptance of the W30 for racing. This car has been the recipient of a total mechanical and frame-off restoration.
