SOLD

Model Mark III roadster
VIN GHN5UE332808G
Mileage 75,198
Engine 1798cc
Cylinders Inline 4 cylinder
Transmission 4 Speed Manual
Color Flame Red
Interior Color Black

Finished in the Flame Red exterior over original Black upholstery, this cosmetically restored 1974 MGB Mark III Roadster is ready to enjoy daily. With only 4 previous owners, this wonderful example comes with just 75,198 original miles! Equipped with it's original 1798cc Inline 4-cylinder engine, twin SU carburetors, and 4-speed full synchromesh manual transmission; it produces 78 horsepower and 105 ft lbs of torque. Other notable features of this car include; Leather-wrapped steering wheel, Kenwood AM/FM cassette stereo with slim mount rear speakers, 14" painted wire spoke wheels, Smiths heater, full instrumentation with tachometer, luggage rack, aftermarket removable hardtop, dual exterior mirrors, matching wire spoke spare tire, jack, knock-off wrench, and original smog equipment. It has already been repainted at some point in the past, which is still very presentable today.

This vehicle was produced early in the 1974 production year (October 1973) and escaped the full rubber bumpers introduced halfway through the year to meet the US crash requirements! This car still possesses the much more attractive chrome bumpers and rubber tipped, chrome overriders. Early production cars also had the dual 6-volt charging system, which has been changed to a single 12-volt battery on this particular car. Most recently, this MGB received new control arm bushings, sway bar bushings, ball joints, front brake pads, rear brake shoes, clutch slave cylinder, complete interior carpet kit, and all new Monza exhaust system. It was fully repainted in April 2010 and received new door weather stripping. What an exceptional opportunity to own a low mileage, MGB roadster during the best time of the driving season! Please call with any questions.
