1966 Rolls-Royce Phantom V State Landaulette
Used by His Highness Sheik Issa Bin Sulima Al-Khalifa, the Ruler of Bahrain
This Phantom V carries one of only five State Landaulette bodies built to this design by the in-house Rolls-Royce coachbuilder Mulliner Park Ward. Made available on special order to heads of state and governments, they were intended to be used exclusively for ceremonial purposes. This example, the second State Landaulett to be built, was shown at the London Motor Show at Earl's Court in October 1965. It subsequently joined the extensive Rolls-Royce fleet of its first owner, His Highness Sheik Issa Bin Sulima Al-Khalifa, the Ruler of Bahrain, in January 1966.
