1931 Packard Dual Windshield Phaeton (Sold)
1931 Packard Dual Windshield Phaeton (Sold) In 1997 this 1931 Packard Series 833 Standard Eight Phaeton was purchased by classic car historian Terry Wenger. Wenger commissioned a full restoration of the car. The car was completed late in 2000 and was done to full concours specifications. The car was finished in silver with red pin striping, black fenders, red wheels with chrome spokes and red leather interior. During restoration the car was fitted with a pair of Trippe Safety Lights, dual sidemounts with packard script mirrors, radiator screen, wind wings, and spotlight. Since restoration the car has acheived Classic Car Club of America National First honors. It comes with a dossier of receipts. This is a stunning show quality example with very interesting history. The car has been very carefully maintained since restoration and runs and drives perfectly.
