1954 Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn Saloon | 1954 Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn Saloon 1954 Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn Saloon Coachwork by Freestone & Webb One of only five built, this elegant saloon was purchased new in London by noted actor, investment advisor and author Richard Ney. Ney, who appeared in more than a dozen films including the Academy Award-winning "Mrs. Miniver" (1942), had the car shipped to his home in New York, then drove it to California when he relocated permanently to the West Coast some years later. The license plate "WAKE UP" was intended to remind the public of the corruption that existed in government and the stock exchanges, the subject of Mr. Ney's three best-selling books: "The Wall Street Jungle", "The Wall Street Gang", and "Making It in the Market."
