Turin, Italy

Giacinto Ghia worked as a young man in Turin in the blossoming automobile industry and with a partner started his own firm to custom build bodies that were in demand by wealthy car buyers.

Their factory was destroyed by bombing in World War II.

Upon his death in 1944 at the age of 56, Ghia?s widow persuaded Felice Mario Boano to take over the running of the company.
