Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg Museum

The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum is housed in,the former Auburn Automobile Company Administration Building in Auburn, IN., just a few minutes north of Fort Wayne.

The beautiful art deco company showroom originally displayed about twenty Auburn, Cord, and Duesenberg automobiles. The beautiful terrazzo floor, elaborate ceiling borders, chandeliers, and wall sconces are all as they appeared when the building opened in 1930.

This delightful museum has five distinctive section - each worthy of being its own great museum.

The Company Showroom displays Auburns, Cords, and Duesenberg from the period of E. L. Cord (1925 - 1937) in the original sales showroom where dealers from all over the world came to select inventory to sell..

Gallery of Special Interest Automobiles where each of the remarkable cars displayed represents significance in at least one of four areas: luxury, design, performance, or ties with the Auburn Automobile Company.

The Dean V. Kruse Gallery Of Auburn Automobiles has Auburn automobiles form 1904 to 1924 that illustrate the prolificacy and skilled workmanship inherent in a region midwestern automobile company.

The state of Indiana was one of America?s home to many companies formed to produce automobiles in the infancy of the industry. The Cars of Indiana gallery displays a number of examples of these companies.

In the Timothy S. Durham Gallery of Classics you will find important motorcars that were contemporaries and competitors of the Auburn, Cord and Duesenberg masterpieces.

In addition to these beautiful car presentations, the museum has other interesting and historical displays. Check their website for more details, maps, hours, and other information..
