This is an all-steel, labor of love re-creation of the iconic Alfa Romeo 8C Monza race cars from the early 1930's. The body is hand made and sits on a 1934 International ladder frame. It's powered by an appropriately sized 2.3 Liter Inline engine. Here, however, it is a Turbo-charged 4 that develops approximately 200hp and 240 lb/ft. Performance is spirited, to say the least, and is aided by modern underpinnings such as a 5-speed manual transmission, independent suspension, electric cooling fan, new tires, full instrumentation and even a tilt steering column to aid ingress and egress. Workmanship and attention to detail are excellent with sumptuous leather upholstery, 1930's racing-style 4-spoke steering wheel, superb panel fit, vintage wire wheels, Scuderia Ferrari racing team shields, Brooklands windscreens and more.
