AMC offered several different "musclecars" during the late 1960's and early 1970's. The AMX was a two-door fastback hardtop available in a variety of powerful V8 engines. The "Big Bad" AMX came out in the middle of 1969. This option-created model came in three colors, Orange, Blue, and Green, and had its bumpers painted the same color as the body. A total of 284 of the Orange "Big Bad" AMX's were built.
