This Aston Martin car is 1 of only 21 DB4 Series 5 cars built with a Vantage engine. Also, it is no over-statement to say this car is in a class by itself when it comes to quality of condition. It was given a no-expense-spared ground-up restoration started in 1980 and finished in 1983. Since then it has received the following awards:
1983 - AMOC Henden Concours de'Elegance - Club Trophy
1984 - AMOC Henden Concours de'Elegance - Holt Trophy
1985 - AMOC Silverstone Concours - 1st Place in the Elite Class. (The Elite Class is only for former winners)
1985 - AMOC Middle Wallop Concours - 1st Place in the Elite Class
1985 - AMOC Greenwich Concours - 1st Place in the Elite Class
1985 - AMOC Wyre Trophy
