Bentley S-Type Continental 1955 to 1965
The Bentley S-Type Continental production was started in 1955 with the last one coming off the line in 1965. The Continental was a continuation of the more sporting special-bodied Bentleys but using the modern chassis being made for the S-Type and the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud.
As with the preceeding R-Type models, custom light-alloy bodies were available mainly from Park Ward and Mulliner.Two-door coupes accounted for most of the limited production, but a few convertibles were built along with a new four-door sedan named “Flying Spur”.
