Frame-off restoration of an original and complete 1957 Buick Century convertible 60 Series. In 1957 Buicks were part of a total redesign and were longer and lower with a bigger 364cid engine with 300hp. New ball joint front suspension improved handling and another universal joint in the driveline reduced the tunnel hump in the front floor. This car is red and white two tone with air conditioning, a white power convertible top, power steering, power windows, power seats, power brakes, heater-defroster, Dynaflow drive transmission, dual exhaust, electric clock, windshield washer, Wonder Bar radio, accessory group, safety group, oversize white wall tires with wire wheels and the unique automatic starting system that is operated by depressing the accelerator pedal just far enough to engage the starter with the shifter control in neutral or park. A true 50's classic that was marketed by General Motors as a step up in luxury over the Chevrolet.
