This is the vehicle GM used for show and display during the 1983 Indianapolis 500, which was won by Tom Sneva on May 29th of that year. The vehicle features a convertible top conversion executed by ASC. Buick built 1750 open Rivieras in 1983, followed by just 500 in 1984 and a mere 400 in 1985, creating a highly collectible series of Buicks.
