Auction Results $26,000 March, 2007 Barrett-Jackson, Palm Beach, Florida Lot #343.
3.8 Liter/245hp V6 with an automatic transmission, power steering, locks and seat. All original with only 7,400 actual miles. Car and Driver reported a 0-60 blast that earned the Grand National the title "The fastest US Production Car of 1987." The turbo charged, intercooled Buicks were the fastest American car production cars of the late 1980's, and yes even over the Corvette. This is why GM pulled the plug on these Buicks in 1987. They would not have a vehicle in their fleet that could outperform the flagship Corvette. This "Sinster Looking" black car is totally stock, 100% unmolested. Retains all the original parts including the tires. The only things changed in 20 years were the battery, oil, oil filter. Dash still has the factory plastic covering in most areas. This time capsule has all it's original paint. The interior is a perfect 10 and still retains that new car smell 20 years later. The trunk compartment is all done up with the Grand National "Dress-up Kit." All the creature comforts: AC, Cruise, Power Steering and power disc brakes, AM/FM stereo cassette, power window, power door locks, power drivers seat, power antenna, tilt wheel, rear defroster.
