Supers were built on Buick's longest wheelbase, which was shared with the Roadmaster and its basic structure with senior Oldsmobiles. The cars were well equipped and comfortably appointed. Buick produced only 12,391 Super Convertible Coupes in 1941.The beautiful example offered here today is finished in correct Sequoia Cream with a red interior. It has been treated to a complete restoration and features the original Buick push-button Sonomatic radio, vacuum-assisted top, fender skirts, gravel guard molding, and bumper wing tips. Options include heater, clock, and defroster. The options function just as they did when fresh out of the factory 67 years ago, as do all the gauges in the instrument cluster, which is accented by beautiful detailing on the dash. The engine and underside are equally as impressive to behold as they were both highly detailed when the car was restored. This lovely Buick sports its original engine and three-speed manual transmission. It operates just as flawlessly as it did in 1941. Still crisp enough to show at high levels or ready for any serious road tour, this Super is ready for enjoyment by its new owner.
