1938 Cadillac

In 1938 Cadillac introduced a lighter, more powerful flathead V-16 engine. The interior is accented with Art Deco-styled intruments including a square speedometer. Cadillac's marketing was proclaiming "more car for the money" when other luxury cars at the time listed for $8,000.

Also new for Cadillac in 1938 was the availabilty of a column-mounted shifter.
