Cadillac became known as the "Standard of the World" based upon its heritage of superior engineering and using only the finest materials available in their construction. For 1957, one of the largest and most potent engines in the industry powered these mighty cars which came with a long list of standard equipment for which lesser automobiles charged extra. Showing just over 52,000 miles on the odometer, these appear to reflect the original state of the car. The condition of the passenger compartment does show some signs of usage; however, it is preserved in remarkably good condition. Outside, the original Dusty Rose color typifies the pastels so popular in the late 1950s, and there are no signs of accidents or touch-up. While the chrome trim has gained a slight patina, there is little or no pitting or other maladies, and it also appears to have been well maintained under the hood. With many standard items included, such as the HydraMatic automatic transmission, power steering and brakes, AM radio, and power seats. This is truly a great find from the 1950s; one with great eye appeal, and best of all, it's a Cadillac!
