1927 Chevrolet Phaeton - Over 10,000 Remarkable Cars and Trucks at RemarkableCars.com
Photographed at the Central Texas Museum of Automotive History in Rosanky, Texas. Photos by Douglas Wilkinson
This 1927 Chevrolet is powered by a 4-cylinder, overhead valve engine and a 3-speed transmission. The car was General Motors' answer to the Model T Ford. The Chevrolet was heavier, however, and had more horsepower that its Ford counterpart.
This car is original with only cosmetic restoration and is operational except for its speedometer. It is quite a rare example of the open cars produced by Chevrolet during the 1920's. This car cost $525 when new.
