The 1957 Corvette used the same body design as the 1956 model. The big news was the availability of a selection from 6 new 283 cid engines including 3 with fuel injection. Also a buyer could chose from 3 transmissions, positive traction rear axel, heavy-duty racing suspension, and a selection from 4 rear axle gear ratios. The Corvette was becoming a real performer.
