This may be the most rare early model Camaro in the world. Rarer than a special Copo or special Yenko. From all current research known to date, it appears there were approx. 100 to 200 true 1967 Pace cars made. Of those only approximately 43 were used at the track in Indianapolis. Those had a special paint and special paint code 0-1. This car is one. Most track cars were also small block auto. Approx 10 were big blocks and 1/2 of those were 4-speeds, so approx. 5. This number matching completely restored is only one of three known to exist today. It is also in the ICC. official Pace car Registry. The log also has it as one of the surviving festival cars.
