This yellow with white cove 58 has the original wash board hood and trunk irons symbolic of this year only. A custom white leather interior, 18" X 8" Foose rims, Nitto tires, 245/40 ZR18 front and 255/45 ZR18 rear, front disc brakes, quick ratio power steering and much more. After being stored since 1984 this body on restoration started in 2006, finished in 2008 and includes new rear leaf springs and hardware, all new quick ratio power steering which converts stock 3.5 turns to 2.5 turns of the steering wheel lock to lock, all new front disc brakes, all original front brake parts go with the car, rear brakes and wheel cylinders are new, new shocks, new correct radiator with original shrouding, new heater core, new brake lines, new correct gas tank with sending unit and hardware, original and rebuilt gauges, complete rebuilt and balanced 283cid/245hp engine, bored 30 over with correct 9.5:1 flat top pistons, 350 heads and cam, Edelbrock intake with 1406 performer series 4 barrel carburetor, 4-speed transmission with 4.11 posi-traction, all stainless trim new and correct, all chrome is original and restored to a beautiful finish, all new weather stripping, new heat riser, mufflers and tail pipes. Interior trim is all original with correct fasteners, courtesy light, door and kick panels are new and correct. Speedometer housing, instrument cluster, steering column cover and turn signal housing are all white powder coated. White leather dash pad is French seamed, and seats have perforated inserts. Carpet is light gray with clear corvette logo floor mats. Model CVVE.S custom autosound stereo with 10 CD disc changer and two additional speakers. Disc changer is located in the trunk. Trunk is yellow and has a light gray carpet to match interior. New white convertible top with seals and gaskets and powder coated bows. White leather cockpit cover matches interior. Hard top painted yellow to match the body. The upgrades of hardened valves allowing the use of unleaded fuel, power steering and disc brakes together with the correct fit and logo stereo with 10 CD disk changer makes this car a true fun driver.
