This rare Avelate is a Limited Edition complete customization of the C5 Corvette. The handcrafted panels give the car an exciting retro appeal. This particular car, "The Roadster" Avelate, is reflective of the '60's and '70's Stingrays. It combines the excitement of a convertible with high performance and ultimate styling. As a collectible or a driver, this car will definitely attract much attention. The 20 coats of Candy Apple Red urethane paint are applied to handcrafted custom body panels by Dinos Kustom Shop in Edgewood, Washington. It also has custom seats and trim. Performance is boosted by adding a Supercharger, Flowmaster exhaust and computer chips. The stock LS1 motor's 350hp is increased to 490hp and 480 ft/lb torque, resulting in 0 - 60 in 3.7 seconds and quarter mile in 11.7 second times. Braking is enhanced by 4-piston caliper Brembo brakes with 14" cross-drilled rotors. This car has been featured on calendars and in several automobile magazines. Less than 21,000 actual miles.
