This 1962 Corvette Roadster Custom is a show stopper! It is done in beautiful teal green paint with buff colored leather interior and a tan Mercedes fabric convertible top. The car was built by well-known corvette builder Greg Thurman of GTS Customs in Simi Valley, California. It looks fantastic, sounds awesome and handles like a dream!

The car features a Newman Car Creations chassis with 1996 corvette C-4 suspension with all new running gear; a new computer-controlled, fuel-infected LS6 motor that puts out about 450 hp; a Tremic 6-speed manuel transmission. The chassis, sway bars and suspension parts are powder-coated. The brake system includes Corvette Grand Sport calipers with 13" front and 12" rear Eradispeed rotors and braided stainless steel brake lines. Front and rear shocks are by Bilstein. The entire exhaust system is stainless steel, including the headers and mufflers. There is a new Dana 44 rear end with 3.73 ratio and new carbon-fiber axles, with a 3" polished aluminum drive shaft. The car features power rack and pinion steering; custom instruments by Classic Instruments; air conditioning and a Sony Xplod 1 gig stereo. The wheels are Budnik Teardrop X-series rolled lip: fronts are 8x17, rears are 10x18. The tires are BFG G-Force: fronts are 245/45ZR1 7 and rears are 295/35ZR1 8. This is a truly gorgeous car. There was no expense spared in the build (costs exceeded $200,000). Records and photos of the car build are included.
