The Chevy Cobalt was presented at the 2004 Los Angeles Motor Show as the successor to the popular Chevrolet Cavalier. The new Cobalt went into production in September 2004.
This smart looking car with a 2.2-liter 145 hp engine is available as a sedan or a coupe. The Chevy Cobalt SS, or Super Sport, version comes with a 2.0 liter 207 hp engine and features a new front and rear body design. The Cobalt has proven to quite popular with the tuner crowd.
