Even though the basic body shell of the 1954 Chrysler was five years old, a fresh and bold face-lift, along with numerous other improvements, made these cars highly sought after. Add to the package Hemi-powered V8 engines and a long list of available accessories, it made the New Yorker Deluxe models not only among the most comfortable cars on the road, but some of the sharpest looking also. Featuring the latest in hard top styling, a base price of $3,707 when new, just 4,814 were ever produced.

Coming from California, this example features a solid body and is finished in a two-tone combination of black over yellow. Among its accessories are the original radio, lever-operated heater, clock, and Power Flite automatic transmission. Excellent interior appointments, including the light green motif, accent the exterior colors. Style and elegance accompany this New Yorker.
