Styling for the 1956 Chrysler was pure and distinctive, yet quite contemporary without being pretentious. Many of the innovations seen on these cars were not only design breakthroughs but also safety orientated. While most other car companies had a push-button to open a door, the entire handle was utilized on the Chrysler, giving the passenger or driver a firm grip. Large wrap-around taillights not only helped rearward drivers to see the car but also those approaching from the side. Massive sturdy chrome bumpers served to protect this car in the event of a minor mishap, while the availability of a padded instrument panel offered a bit of protection in the event of an accident.

This sharp Windsor sedan is fitted with power steering and brakes, push-button AM radio, and a very effective heater-defroster.
