1957 Chrysler Saratoga Four-Door Hardtop - Over 10,000 Classic, Collector and Current Cars and Trucks at RemarkableCars.com.
1957 Chrysler Saratoga Four-Door Hardtop
354 cid Hemi V8 engine rated at 295 horsepower, Power-Flite two-speed automatic transmission, four-wheel power-assisted hydraulic drum brakes; wheelbase: 126.0"
While the entire automotive world in 1957 was filled with excitement, nowhere else was it more apparent than within the halls of the Chrysler Corporation as everyone was raving about the Forward Look that Virgil Exner had created and inspired. While models like the 300C were catching everyone's attention, it was up to the models like those in the Saratoga line to provide the bread and butter sales. Priced at $3,832, the popular four-door hardtop was a great buy when compared to its competitors.
This example is really quite a jewel, and it has been remarkably well preserved. Showing just over 44,600 miles, which appear to be from new, this car is loaded with accessories including the AM radio, heater, clock, and full power including steering, brakes, windows, and front seat. The two-tone green interior combination set off by the black exterior really enhances the look especially when you realize its pristine condition. Even the padded dash looks showroom fresh while the rest of the car appears to have never been altered. Sure to be a welcomed addition for historical preservation of survivor class, this Chrysler is a must-buy.
