1957 Chrysler 300C Convertible
392 cid Hemi V8 engine fitted with dual four-barrel carburetors rated at 390 horsepower, three-speed push-button Torque-Flite transmission, four-wheel power-assisted hydraulic drum brakes; wheelbase: 126.0"
Offered from the Old Car Heaven Museum this outstanding example of the 57 300C convertible, one of just 484 produced, is finished in Gauguin Red, an exclusive color to this series. Treated to a full restoration a few years back, this car has been very well maintained, and with minor detailing can be brought to Concours quality exhibition. This car is fitted with an original radio, clock, and power steering and brakes. What makes this vehicle so desirable isn't just its speed, looks, performance, or color, but its snapshot of when the "letter cars" were really coming into their own: setting a standard that others would aim for and few would surpass but never with the beauty or elegance of the 300C!
