1963 Chrysler 300J Two-Door Hardtop - Over 10,000 Classic, Collector and Current Cars and Trucks at RemarkableCars.com.
1963 Chrysler 300J Two-Door Hardtop
413 cid overhead valve V8 engine fitted with dual four-barrel carburetors rated at 390 horsepower, three-speed Torque-Flite automatic transmission, four-wheel power-assisted hydraulic drum brakes; wheelbase: 122.0"
This 63 Chrysler is a mostly original car that documentation shows was in the dry climates of Arizona as far back as the mid-1970s. Finished in its original Oyster White with rich dark burgundy leather bucket seats, mileage is put under the 54,000 mile mark and that appears to be on its first time around. Our inspection found no signs of any major damage or body problems, though the patina of age is seen throughout this car. It is equipped with radio, heater-defroster, as well as power steering and brakes. Even though the official horsepower rating was down this year, fitted with those twin Carter carbs at the end of the long-ram induction manifolds, this could one of the most quiet sleepers you could want to drive.
