The Imperial's Crown Southampton two-door hardtop for 1958 featured all the amenities of a true luxury car, plus the beauty of Exner's "Forward Look." Under the hood, the legendary Imperial Hemi V8 engine would make its last appearance while the Torque-Flite automatic transmission continued as standard equipment. Weighing in at over 4,700 lbs, they were remarkably heavy and just 1,939 of these two-door hardtops produced. With a base price of $5,388, there was a long list of features including quad-headlights, power brakes, steering, and even power seats. Showing just over 9,000 miles, it is unknown if they are original miles, but its Satin Gray metallic paint looks to be in excellent condition with a minimum of wear to its comfortable and inviting interior. Other optional equipment includes the heater-defroster, Touch-Tuner AM radio, tinted glass, and much more.
