This beautiful Delahaye roadster was shown at the 1951 Paris Auto Show where it carried the hope of the revival for the Delahaye. The Type 235's price was twice that of its competitors; one rival being the Jaguar XK120. With limited sales, this chassis was the fifth of only 84 Type 235 Delahaye cars built between 1951 and 1954, which would be Delahaye's last year of making automobiles.

The 235 Roadster is powered by an in-line 3.5 liter, six-cylinder, overhead camshaft engine, with three Solex downdraft carburetors, and developes 150 horsepower. The car is capable of a top speed of 106 miles per hour.
